Long gone are 
the days of simply hiring a tutor for your struggling child. In this extremely competitive, academic world, raising grades is only the beginning. A significant number of our students come to us with excellent grades – we are hired to ensure that they remain at the top of their class, and a tutor alone will not suffice. It takes a mentor.
As most of our mentors are young adults, your child more easily relates to them. With a background in Psychology, I personally strive to match personalities as well, which acts as a true catalyst in the growing relationship. This combination forms the crucial mentor/mentee relationship – a unique dynamic that is anything but the one that is formed between your child and his or her teacher, parent, sibling, peer, or even a standard tutor.
With this emphasis on mentoring, our students have seen incredible success, from raising three full letter grades within a year (“D” to an “A”), to remaining at the top of a highly competitive, advanced Math class.
But perhaps our most rewarding and fulfilling student to date was a young man who had failed the TAKS Exit Math Exam on multiple occasions. Until he passed, he could not graduate from high school. Working with our mentors, not only did he pass, but he also became the first person in his family to go to college. We were so humbled to work with such an extraordinary young man who worked so hard to realize his dreams.
